the sunday currently, volume 63.

Well, our Thanksgiving guests departed yesterday morning, & since then, I have been hard at work on some projects for school, as well as studying for a final I have coming up... tomorrow! Today will hopefully be a day of continued productivity, of a nice workout, & of getting a weight or two lifted off of my shoulders as I complete some tasks.

It's also officially Christmas season! This week, as time allows, I'll be putting up some festive decor around our apartment. I'm sad to say, we probably won't be getting a Christmas tree this year, as we will not be home for the majority of December. Oh well, we will just have to enjoy our families' trees!

C  U  R  R  E  N  T  L  Y  .  .  .

R E A D I N G all about Anatomy & Physiology. I have my final in there tomorrow! I can't adequately express how excited I am that this semester is coming to a close. And with the taking of this test, comes the relief of worrying about one less class for the rest of the time this forever-and-a-half-long semester is going on for.
W R I T I N G is one of my top priorities this week. Even with the stress of the holidays, even with the stress of the semester coming to a close, even with the stress (and excitement) of heading to Nashville for a long weekend, I am focusing my energy on writing. It is a life force for me, an outlet, a given. It's something I have to have in my life. So I'm forcefully putting it back in there.
L I S T E N I N G to Christmas music! It is now most truly & most officially the most wonderful time of the year.
T H I N K I N G that I miss our family house guests. Every time someone comes to visit, I'm sad when they leave. I miss all of our family & friends, & I can't wait to visit in a few short weeks!
S M E L L I N G my favorite winter candles, which we picked up on Black Friday. In case you're wondering, they are Chestnut & Clove and Mahogany Teakwood from Bath & Body Works.
W I S H I N G I could give myself a break. I shared a little bit here about how I've been feeling lately. I hope things clear up soon, & that I can come back into my own & stay there a while.
H O P I N G  to feel, be, & act lovely through the next few weeks, though they may be stressful. I'm so tired of my to-do list determining my mood. It's time to rise above & get a handle on my emotions. I always wear them on my sleeve.
W E A R I N G comfy clothes, to be sure. With the workings-on of schoolwork comes the needing to wear clothing that is comforting & cozy. These things are important, obviously.
L O V I  N G when family comes to visit us in Wilmington. It is always a special treat to have people we love here with us!
W A N T I N G a week of solid workouts & clean eating. Boy, did we eat well for Thanksgiving!
N E E D I N G to rack up on some more cute composition notebooks. They are my obsession right now!
F E E L I N G excited that I finally got to replace my favorite, favorite boots this past week. And nostalgic for holiday seasons' past. And the Christmas spirit. And excited for our trip to Nashville. And excited for our trip home.
C L I C K I N G Afternoons & Coffeespoons daily, lately. I love Alexa's photographic style. Also, on My House Wife Life's Vlogidays! Jen is such an inspiration to me, but especially around the holidays. She has a knack for making everything seem special & exciting. I'm so happy to have stumbled upon her channels a few months ago.

Good luck with your final! I need to get out to Bath & Body Works and look through their Christmas candles soon. I think I'm going to head over tomorrow.

Mahogany Teakwood is one of my favorites. I work at BBW; Chestnut & Clove wallflower bulbs are not the best fragrance to bust all over the floor and yourself, not that I have any experience with that or anything. . .

Christmas songs already!? Definitely a way to kick start the spirit!

I'm also really excited that we can now listen to Christmas music without getting the evil eye. :) I love this time of year! We are planning to get our Christmas tree this weekend. Bring on the holiday spirit!

(P.S. I just realized that my link never went through on Sunday, so I'm re-linking up today.)

the back and forth.

Justin had to turn on the air conditioner again last night.  It's October 26 - doesn't that mean the heater can stay on? Doesn't...
